Ember & Oak is a self-initiated concept: a small-batch coffee roaster brand created to show our approach to logo and identity design from first sketch to shelf-ready packaging.
The Challenge
Specialty coffee shelves are crowded with look-alike kraft bags. The brand needed to feel handcrafted and premium while staying instantly recognizable from across a café.
Our Approach
We built the identity around the roasting process itself: fire and wood. A single mark combines a flame and an oak leaf, paired with a warm, characterful serif.
The Solution
A complete identity system: primary and stacked logos, a circular badge for stamps and stickers, a roasted earth-tone palette, and packaging and cup applications.
